Located at the end of a very narrow part of Hancock Gorge, where climbers have to do what is often referred to as “The Spider Walk” to traverse the narrow stream between towering cliff faces, Kermit’s Pool (so named because of the particular green colour of the water due to sunlight shining through the gorge) provides a welcome cool relief from the heat of the rock.
